The Alice Network by Kate Quinn

5.0

4.5 rounded up to 5. A combination of reading and listening really helped to make this an engaging read. I did not know about this spy network and it was interesting to go off on my own and do some more research. Saskia Maarleveld the narrator, truly brought this story to life. So many voices and accents and Eve Gardiner's stutter and ensuing frustration with what she called her "hitched tongue" were performed to perfection by Ms. Maarleveld. Recommended reading and/or listening.
