Fairy Tale by Stephen King

This is the first Stephen King book I have read. The Character development is slow but worth the investment when you see the relationships built between characters. I really enjoyed Stephan King's writing voice and descriptions of characters! As his most recent Fantasy book, I think it's a very interesting and engaging world to read about.
The only criticism I have is that the protagonist is supposed to be about 16 or 17, but reads as a middle aged man. For example, Charlie opts for some outdated ways to use technology for a teenager in 2013 (choosing to send emails instead of texts). This isn't the only reason why his actions don't really match that of a teenager but it's forgivable because Stephen King is 76 years old and I don't expect him to portray teenagers in the 2010s. It also doesn't really impact the quality of the story/plot.
