Lady of Mystery by Ellie St. Clair

3.0

I would like to thank Dragonblade Publishing Inc for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. I am a part of the authors review team.

Phoebe longs for more than her lot as a lady of the ton, expected to marry and produce heirs. She starts a newspaper that aims to educate women and challenges the idea of what a women should be. Jeffrey shares opinions with the men surrounding him that the newspaper should be shut down, despite having four sisters of his own. Phoebe devises a plan to keep Jeffrey off her track, but what happens when they start to fall in love?

It took a little while for me to connect to the characters, but I ended up enjoying the story in the end. The idea for the series is intriguing and I can't wait to read the next story.
