#cityoffallenangels sees our young heroes in the aftermath of the War on #alicante

The book centers around Clary and Jace's relationship, a wedding between two prominent characters and Simon's adjustment to his invincibility not only as a vampire who can walk in the day but a #daylighter who is the host to one of the oldest marks in biblical history.

We see three main characters appear in this book who play a large part in shaping the story for the final two books.

1️⃣Jordan; a werewolf who happens to be an impactful person from one of the main character's past.

2️⃣The mother of all demons; with her dedication to her son, her rather realistic values and- well she's crazy.

3️⃣Camille; a rather interesting character who had definitely peeked my interest not only because of her manipulation techniques but also how much she knows and has seen.

Relationships wise, #clace go through a rather insecure time period due to a decision made by Clary at the end of the previous book. We see a budding romance between Simon and Isabelle #sizzy which is absolutely adorable for Izzy is outgoing and charismatic and basically everything that Simon is not. And then we see my favourites #malec It's a bit of an up and down situation and the couple makes an appearance only mid book. And after a rather enlightening conversation with one of the new characters I have mentioned above, Alec struggles to accept the fact that some day Magnus will outlive him.

Now the 4 star rating was because I personally felt like it was a filler book with the only rather prominent incident happening in the final pages of the book. But hey, who am I kidding; that's my favourite type of ending.
