This is my first book by this author, and I must say, it was a gripping experience that left me eager for more. The storyline was captivating, and I found myself truly invested in the main characters who were complex and really likeable. The antagonist was so despicable, yet I couldn't help but feel compelled to find out what would happen next.
One thing I particularly liked was how multiple storylines were interwoven among the main plot. It added depth and complexity to the narrative but without making it over-complicated for the reader.
There were some dark and twisted moments throughout the story and I can only imagine some of the facial expressions I made while reading it, but these moments only served to intensify the unputdownable nature of the book.
I'm eagerly anticipating diving into more books from this series.
