The beginning of dreadful was great. It was fun and playful, the characters were easy to love.

I got annoyed with the number of references made to not knowing an individual's gender. They seemed unnecessary and didn't add to the story. 

Th ending didn't keep me engaged but overall it was an enjoyable read and I will never look at garlic the same way again.
