abipop 's review for:
Homecoming
by Kate Morton
I almost DNF this book and was going to rate a 2-3 for about the first 300-350 pages when it finally kicked into gear — so final rating is 3-3.5 with a good few twists at the end. Also. How did I find ANOTHER book about relationships with daughters and mothers, lol
The “book in a book” thing sometimes tends to get a bit self indulgent with the overly descriptive and circular narratives (I may have some PTSD from trying and failing to read The Witching Hour), which is the majority of the first half of the book.
Edit:
I co-sign Jennifers review.
Spoiler:
Nora SUCKS lmao
