5 years ago Hallie went missing while leaving a party, after thirty- three days of being held captive she escaped and was found by Lawson. The moment that would live with them forever. The book jumps to present time when Lawson needs help with his three boys and Hallie seeing the blue eyes that saved her while interviewing to be the nanny for his kids. 

The relationship between Luke and Hallie had me teary eyed more than once. Charlie is still the cutest kid. Drew’s bruhhs were funny 

Lawson and Hallie’s story was so good so far my favorite stories of hers. The way she took a common trope and intertwined it to include a pivotal connection between the two was everything. They healed each other while the slow burn burned. 

The way the family and DIL all stood up for Hallie during her panic attacks and could pick up on the signs made me want to weep with how caring they all where
