I enjoy this world a lot. It's going to be interesting to see how Elena grows and how she will deal with being an Angel and going back to work for the guild. For now though, it's interesting seeing the politics in her new world and how and what she will become.
At first I was annoyed with Raphael and the way he acted in regards to Elena. I understand why he did the whole He-man, you are MINE act but it was pushing my buttons. What I loved about this author is that while she still writes Raphael as being a caveman, she does have him start to grow and you can see him changing the way he acts with Elena. While it still might be a possession issue, it goes both ways and is not as extreme. I like that they are learning to trust each other and seeing their growth as a couple is good.
As for the story, I enjoyed this story and you got to learn some of the morals/ideals that the angels live by. I liked meeting some new Angels and learning that not every angel is perfect in appearance. I can't wait to see what new hurdles all of the characters have to overcome.
