The Accidental Text by Becky Monson

4.0

This was soooo sweet and cute and emotional.

I love a good texting trope and this delivered.

Maggie recently lost her mom, but texts her phone daily, still holding on to her for comfort and support. Then one day, her mom texts her back, only it’s not her mom… it’s a stranger named Chase who has been reading these texts for 2 weeks.

Maggie and Chase bond through shared loss, they both use and lean on each other to cope with their loss.

This was beautiful story of loss and friendship and finding your way after losing a loved one.

Absolutely zero spice, but the plot was really sweet. I definitely recommend.
