I've enjoyed the other books Berney has written. I like his attention to detail, slight sarcasm and believability. This book was all of that until the end. Two stories converge and cross slightly and then everything is cleaned up in the last 20 pages. It's hard to find books with good endings but this one in comparison to the rest of the story's suspense was a slight let down.
