Faithful Place by Tana French

5.0

Another excellent installment of the Dublin Murder Squad series. French knows how to write complex characters who are as unlikeable as they are likeable, as tender as they are terrifying. As always, my enjoyment of her book is less about the whodunnit and more about the winding, well-written journey of how-they-figured-it-out, what it was like to do so, and the expert interweaving of flashback and present-time narrative.
