This was such a cool read! I LOVED the entire world-building and the history of the gods. I appreciated how everything was pieced together with subtle foreshadowing that many might miss. 

Unfortunately, I found Gem to be pretty annoying... but hear me out. It might have been intentional? I can't decide if it was Gem’s age or the fact that they are the god of [redacted to avoid spoilers]. So, either this was executed really well, or I just didn’t care for Gem during large chunks of the book. Lol. 

I'm completely hooked on how this book ends and immediately added book 2, 'Merciless Saviors,' to my TBR. I HAVE to check it out!! 

Some additional cool things about this read: Takes place in small town southern GA, there’s trans and non-binary representation, some fated mates vibes, along with some ENM thoughts/discussion.
