Fun read, I liked how much focus there was on this insular librarian character making friends and becoming part of the community, and showing examples of other people with their own happy endings. The romance is was predictable but comforting in the way that it needed to be for the story. I didn't like how Miles first said "I love you" to Daphne in the midst of an argument, even if later on his frustration was revealed to be very understandable. Otherwise, Miles as a friendly stoner is a relatable character (reading as a guy) and he appropriately reads as a good guy who isn't a perfect person. Emily Henry's narrative voice held my admittingly short attention span with funny quips and well written micro-cliffhangers. The countdown to the big event at the library served as a great framing and pacing for the story. I liked hearing updates on all the characters around the end of the book, even including the kids Daphne works with showing her impact in the town.
