Lincoln has taken six months off to travel. He lives in Scotland, and owns a hotel with his dad and grandfather. Work is his life and his father wanted him to get out and live some. So he traveled all around but tired of that quickly. With a few weeks left, he settles in Santa Monica. He gets a part time job at a gym, as he’s use to working and bored. That’s how he meets Violet.

Violet works with her father and responsible for acquisitions. They have just bought some gyms and she is at one to help with the transition. After an awkward start, her and Lincoln click right away. He has a ton of good ideas about how to improve the gym. She looks forward to his input for the remaining weeks.

But work turns to lust in a flash and they decide to take on a short relationship. But as the days go by, they really fall for each other and don’t know what they are going to do..as one lives in the US and the other in Scotland.

Overall, this was a good read. A little through the middle read a bit slow but towards the end, it picks up and is really good. We get a little bit of his friends, Jacob and Owen, and they will both have their own books. Loved Lincoln’s family and that world created. Good start.
