To Katie With Love by Erica Lucke Dean

1.0

Over 50% into this and not enjoying it. For almost the first 1/2 of the book we are in the set up for a slow moving, and questioning one's self, romance. Pull my hair out boring for the most part. Not sure why either like the other other than Katie liking him for looks (and maybe money?). This would certainly have been a DNF if it weren't audio. It is in the Audible romance package. So far, I would return this for a refund. Hoping it'll get better.

63% and I think I hate Katie. She is ridiculous and their relationship is too. He is flat, nothing. Is this supposed to be fun, funny, sexy, romantic, because it is none of this. It is a bad romance with no trust and distrust.
Spoiler She runs away and drops her towel, huh? Is that running or inviting, stupid.
Yes, she truly doesn't trust him so? How is this a good relationship?

84% and wow, really again
Spoiler She is drunk... again.
And this romance sucks.
Spoiler Throwing up really? We get this 85%.
He is such an ass, an ass and she is an idiot. There is no chemistry and I really think these two need to shoot each other as neither is particular interesting.

First 1 star book for 2019. There was nothing particularly good about this and a lot bad.
Spoiler She doesn't trust him. He keeps secrets and doesn't trust her. They are saying "I love you" when they don't even know each other or at least she doesn't know him. She spies on him she is so untrusting. Her mother points out that she doesn't know him and it is true. She is constantly tripping and falling and dropping things, does she have a physical issue?
Spoiler He keeps his stupid secret until the end. He just didn't want her to know who he is and didn't trust her either.
And finally now she is his publicist, when from a banker to publicist really just to try to jar us at the end and make it seem like he married the wrong person?
What I will remember about this the most is disliking it and pushing through. AudiRom
