Jock Row by Sara Ney

5.0

"Never have I ever" almost DNF'd a book after chapter 2 and end up loving it so much by the end of the book. True story!

I almost missed out on one hell of a fantabulous book. First of all, why did it take me so long to read this? This is what you call New Adult perfection! This had everything I love about college sport romances!

So just to explain the almost DNF: The heroine gets kicked out of the baseball house on Jock Row by none other than the hero himself. Yet she keeps coming back begging to get in and I hate deperate heroines so this was a huge turn off. However, this part of her personality quickly disappears as the book progresses and actually it becomes sort of a running joke between the couple later on.

Rowdy and Scarlett gradually form a friendship on the porch of the baseball house. Each Friday they meet and talk and play games like "Never Have I Ever" and its is the sweetest foreplay. Can you get sexy times with just dialogue?! Yes you can and Sara Ney has perfected it! The anticipation and sexual tension was done SO WELL! I was going crazy. It was THAT GOOD!

I swooned so hard for Rowdy. The sexy Jock who initially appears as a jerk but ends up having this sweet, romantic side to him. I loved this couple SO HARD! The banter was witty and the progression of their relationship from friends to lovers was just perfect. If you are looking for a college sports romance with humor, steam and emotions galore, I hope you try this one. It will not dissappoint!
