I wanted to love this book as much as I loved the others but sadly, that’s not the case. From book one, I didn’t like Landon and I still don’t after reading his story. I will say that I did enjoy reading about Mia and her story. I was curious to know what happened to her that made her stop talking and we get those answers in this book.

It did take me a while to get into this book. It’s not because of how it’s written but because I didn’t care for Landon and couldn’t connect to his story.

The spice is of course part of the book and part of Landon and Mia’s relationship. The spice senses do go into detail and is graphic, for that I’ll rate it a 4 spice level.
