My Next Breath: A Memoir by Jeremy Renner
4.25
hopeful inspiring medium-paced

This was fascinating to listen to and it was interesting  that they used the actual 911 calls within the story. And he described his experiences from his life to the point of the accident that influenced and helped him survive.

He talks a lot about what motivates him most in life - his family and the impact his accident had on them and his guilt for them having to carry anything with them.

He spent time re evaluating his life and priorities and he now focuses his life around what’s most important to him, and this informs his decisions about the work he does and the ripple effects from this. He set up camp renovation with his family and friends for foster kids.

He says the only thing you can control in life is your perspective, it shows how positive he is and how from something quite negative he has continued to move forward positively and make a positive impact and difference within his community.
