I LOVED this book. It was exciting and although there are some tropes you expect (and that I always love, no matter how many times I read them) from a Romantasy type book, it wasn’t predictable! I loved how the relationships were developed, and

even though the misunderstanding between Rune and Gideon was awful, it worked for the story. And all of the realizations were exciting… that Alex didn’t kill Cressida, when Gideon realized Rune really was the Crimson Moth, but still cared about her… so good. Alex’s death was obviously very sad, but I appreciate when authors don’t just protect all the main characters.

I can’t wait for book 2 to be published!
