I have never been able to watch the Saw movies but this book gives the same vibe. Our female protagonist finds her and her friend lured to a torturerers wet dream of a cabin in the woods. For months she and the others trapped within try to stay strong as they face torture tactics ranging from water boarding, extreme temperatures, sleep deprivation and more. How much could you withstand and how would that change who you become as a person? Who and what do you trust when everyone and everything seems to be pushing you to the edge?
