Excellent collection, great for sustainable light reading. Each heroine has a relatively short biography, but there is such a wonderful variety that by savoring each snippet, the entire book can be drawn out to last a while. Presented with a humor that was also genuinely fond of its subjects, in advancing levels of age appropriate subject matter. My daughter had great fun reading the earlier chapters with me, and each section was well labelled so that we knew when she ought to stop.
