Maybe Matt's Miracle by Tammy Falkner

5.0

I've loved the Reed brothers from the beginning. Ever since I decided to read Tall Tatted and Tempting on a whim.(You know one of those books you keep seeing in your recommendations but just skip along.) But then I picked it up because I had 'nothing' to read (read= so much to read on my TBR that I didn't have enough energy to choose)so I figured "What the Hell!". I have to say that was one of the Best decisions I've made this year.

That first book took my breath away! I was completely captivated and I loved every minute of it. There is just something so honest about both the story and Tammy Falkner's style of writing. There is something believable about her stories and I have to say it's been a long time since I've come across a contemporary series that I just keep loving more and more as to books progress. I really can't choose which book or brother is my favourite...from Pete all the way to Paul. They each have their own unique personalities that just draw you to them.

And it doesn't hurt that the female leads are seriously bad ass and not afraid to throw a punch or two if necessary!

I was so ecstatic by the time I got to Matt's book, he's always had a soft spot in my heart and he really deserved to have his very own HEA. There was something about Matt that was so different form all the male leads I've read about. He just didn't fit into a specific category, you just couldn't label him. He was so innately honest in his character and I'm someone who really appreciates sincerity.

Sky was a really awesome female protagonist I just couldn't find anything I wanted to nitpick about her. She was strong, albeit not as strong as Emily or Reagan, but strong none the less. She was able to step up and I liked that she didn't play the victim, she took the situation for what it was and ran with it.

To say I'm attached to The Reeds is an understatement! They are an amazing family and I'm really excited to read about the rest of them!
