The Wedding Witch
by Erin Sterling
Loved this, definitely my favourite pairing of the three books
A sunshine grumpy couple, but where the ‘grumpy’ is an earnest lovable introvert and the sunshine is upbeat and energetic, but sensible and not annoying.
I love a romance with slightly older protagonists, that actually act their ages. Likely in their 30s, they communicate well, understand each other seasoning and space and have respect for each other. A contemporary romance, where the romance built in a natural feeling way
The spice took a bit of time coming, but when it did… 🥵
The story/mystery was really intriguing, although the resolution was a bit ‘it’s just magic innit, doesn’t have to make sense’. Which felt a bit lazy, or maybe I missed something
Overall still really enjoyed this book
The writing was funny and witty, the dialogue felt realistic, the main couple were sexy but lovable and the romance/love declarations felt earnt
Great romance with a side of witchiness
