Playmaker is a brothers best friend romance, Maddie and Cameron grew up with one another, we're pretty close and almost changed the course of their friendship in one night. But a few harsh words and a verbal pushing away by Cameron put Maddie out of his life for the last 6 years (well as much as he could considering his best friend is Maddie's brother).
But that was then, this is now and Spring Break is making the underlying sexual tension hard to ignore for both of the. So Cameron and Maddie strike up a deal they'll explore their connection for Spring Break, become friends again and then part ways. Sounds simple right? But what happens when old feelings that were buried come to the surface, and all you want is the one person you feel you can't have.

I really enjoyed Playmaker, it was a purchase based on cover, blurb and a quick skim read instore. I'm glad I got it, I look forward to the follow up Game Changer for Ethan and Mayas story. A good 4/5 star read, nice and easy packed with steam just what I needed.
