I loved reading this book. Eleanor says what is on her mind which can be shocking to others, but finds it is others that have minimal social etiquette. It provides a glimpse into how our views of the world are shaped by our childhood and what has been ingrained in our brains as children. Watching Eleanor progress in life, discover new things, and challenge her views gives hope that people can have a good and meaningful life despite adversity.
