This book was so good! When I first started reading this, I made the mistake of not checking who the author was. Respectfully, I did not want this to be another story written by a straight white man. Abdi Nazemian did not disappoint. Reading this and learning what it was like to be gay in New York in a point in time when AIDs had no cure and the fear so many people experienced was heart wrench, but beautiful. Reza and Art found the strength to love each other anyway, fearlessly.
