I really loved this book! I finished in two days. I am a bookseller so I got early access to this book which was very exciting! I loved Casey’s previous books, but one thing I would keep in mind for those coming to think book after reading Casey’s other works is that *this is a YA book*. The themes are more young adults, the characters are teens and slightly immature but, but it’s good nonetheless! I was not sure if we were supposed to like Shara or not, but I really connected with her and her story. Chloe had a bit of an “I’m not like other girls vibe” but she grows on you. I would and have recommended this book. I rated 4.5 star because I just prefer other genres but the book has a good plot, nice characters and is well written. Casey has obviously established herself as a writer but for her first YA she did amazing.
Minor: Religious bigotry and Drug use
Minor use of recreational drugs, religious bigotry is a plot point.
