Vengeance Planning for Amateurs by Lee Winter

3.0

3 stars. I’ll start with the things I liked. I thought the characters were great. I liked Olivia, I liked Margaret, and a lot of the side characters were awesome as well. It’s well written but that’s a given because Winter is a fantastic writer.

As for everything else oh boy this was a struggle for me. I was so, so, SO bored. The plot just kinda meanders and the humor landed with a thud for me. I didn’t laugh not once but I usually don’t with romcoms. I also wasn’t into the romance because I felt no chemistry at all between Olivia and Margaret. I liked when they became friends but that was about it. The romance just wasn’t there for me with them. Overall, this wasn’t anything terrible but I read it and once I was done I felt nothing about it one way or another. It was just a book that I read which is unfortunate.
