Hidden Pictures
by Jason Rekulak
This book was thrilling and very unique! I loved the idea of a child drawing pictures that get progressively creepy and more detailed. Horror stories that have children in them always give me some goosebumps.
I didn't see the twists coming at all, which I really enjoyed. I found myself pausing between certain pages because I was nervous about what I was going to read next. I also loved the pictures scattered throughout the story. They were super clever and added a lot of detail.
Even though this book was thick, I flew through it in a couple of days. It was fast-paced and kept you wanting to know what was going to happen.
If you like creepy children, paranormal entities, and unique ways to tell stories, this is the book for you.
