 What an interesting mystery. I have not read any other books in the the series and I think it was fine for me. I figured out the story line but maybe it would've help a bit to read book 1. I enjoyed the dogs in this book and the relationship they had with the handlers. I am an animals lovers so this book was good in this way for me. The story was a little slow but I picked it up and enjoyed the book. It was interesting enough to keep me wanting to read more.
