Kya is a brilliant character and her story is one I think everyone should read. I know this particular story is fictional but I imagine that it rings true to too many children and their lives growing up. I have no words other than beautifully written and a story I won’t soon forget.
Also a good note is I thought I was going to read a story with no hope and a sad ending. While it’s emotional those that typically don’t pick up a book if it may be sad should still give this a go. There is much to happy with in the end, even if it’s all small wins.
