I struggled with this one after Say You Swear. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good book. I just expected more out of it. This story is more of an emotional, grief stricken one with no smut until like 75/80% with the ending feeling rushed. I love, love Mason and Payton (and little D) and hope to hear more about them in future books. Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully poor Chase can have his time to shine 🤣
