Those who train together....

I really enjoyed this story of Knox, the playboy motocross racer with a short temper, and Avery, the Olympic gymnast struggling with a comeback from an injury. Their enemies-to-lovers meet cute and banter really made this story standout. Even once they found their groove together, the banter between them was so fun and engaging. I loved everything about the two of them.

This is a very different type of sports romance and I really enjoyed that our two MCs were dedicated to two different sports and the only reason they cross paths was due to mutual friends. Their dedication to their training and goals was a nice plotline. Knox is cocky and stubborn but his emotional and vulnerable moments really show his big heart. I absolutely loved his character. Avery is confident and sassy. She doesn't back down from what she wants and while she has some insecurities when it comes to her comeback in gymnastics, when it comes to Knox, she lays herself on the line. She is comfortable with her boundaries which I very much appreciated.

Overall, there is great banter, engaging plot, swoon worthy moments and great spice. I really loved this story so much and I am definitely keeping an eye out for the next book in this world.

I listened to the audio version of this book and it was such a great performance. The duet narration from Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton is chef's kiss. They absolutely made these characters come alive and for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the audiobook world, this is a great one to start with.
