what a phenomenal story! i immediately started this book after finishing the show and am impressed with both. the show sticks pretty true to the book but adds a few things in that i don’t mind!
the only thing that sticks out to me is the cherry blossom paperweight. they gave it far more significance in the show (which honestly, i loved.) whereas in the book, not so much.
definitely recommend both the book and the show, which is available on paramount+
