It doesn't feel right to say I enjoyed this book, it was a fantastically crafted story, but it was a dark one as the atrocities of war and cruelty became a main focus. Some parts of the book will stick with me for a long time. It started at a break-neck pace and didn't really let up the whole way through, which I grew to love the more I read.
