Love You Forever by Robert Munsch

The reputation of this short story is that it will make readers, of all ages, cry their eyes out. There is a handful of pages that could have a "creepy" tone but I believe one cannot take the words of those pages too literally.
Do I really believe that mother climbed through her grown son's window? Absolutely not. It threw me off but ultimately I took it as a representation of the mother's wish that she could treat her son as she had when he was younger.
Now, did a tear form in my eye as I thought of my own mother while reading? Yes! I would love to read this to my future kids and laugh together about the "creepy" pages.
