Facing West by Lucy Lennox

4.0

West is devastated by the loss of his best friend, Adriana, and is readying her baby girl, Pippa, for adoption.

Nico hears from Adriana’s lawyer that Pippa has been left in his care, a shock because he hasn’t seen her in 15 years.

As the two of them begin to work together on looking after Pippa and getting Adriana’s house and business in order, they share memories of her, and West learns more about why Nico left his family behind.

It becomes clear to everyone around them that they belong together, but they’re both afraid, especially Nico, who doesn’t think he’s good enough for West.

It’s all sorted, and a happy ending for all ensues.
