The Reason I Married Him by Meghan Quinn
5.0

I was lucky enough to receive an Advanced Reader a copy of The Reason I married him may be my favorite new book. When I tell you that this book had me cracking up from the first page I am not exaggerating. We start off back in Almond Bay where we last met Hattie and Hayes.

Well, this book is about Hattie’s sister Aubree. Aubree has had a rough go of life and is definitely a bit skeptical of basically everything. Her deceased sisters farm is her pride and joy. Aubree was thrown for a loop when she found out that half of the farm was left to her sisters deceased husbands brother.

Wyatt is your happy go lucky guy but his fiancé left him the night before his wedding.
Now I don’t want to give the book away but let’s say there’s a proposed marriage of convenience involving the farm and a family cabin.

Does Wyatt thaw Aubree’s cold exterior?
Does this end in a happily ever after?

I loved reading this book and I truly felt like I was in not only Almond Bay but also Canoodle. Meghan Quinn truly brings you to the small town she created. You fall in love with each and every character and you pull for every single one. I am so jealous of everyone that gets to read this book for the first time.

This is an absolute must read with the best tropes around.
