The Casanova by T.L. Swan

Again, I felt like this book started so promising, but then just fell flat for me. I usually love an enemies to lovers book, especially if you add workplace romance in there too, but this just didn’t do it for me. I personally thought that both characters were a little too much.

Elliot is super protective of his privacy, which is understandable, but it annoyed me that Kate kept expecting more. You both knew what you were signing up for. When Elliot flew to France to meet the artist, I felt like it was a shitty thing to do, but I can understand why he did it-he would have regretted not going and it would just fester in his mind. I think Kate was fully justified in her reaction because I probably would have been traumatized too. And the whole Daniel scene?? Like what even was that? It felt so unnecessary. I’ll likely read Christopher’s story, but maybe after a bit of a break first.
