The Wright 3 by Blue Balliett

2.0

I really wanted to like this book. It's YA, a mystery, and Frank Lloyd Wright - three things I love! Unfortunately, I hated the "teachy" tone of the book and the underdeveloped characters. I mean, who has ever gone to a school where the teacher can, on a whim, take the kids off campus? Not I, that's for sure. And the kids' strained relationship was rather unbelievable and weird.

I enjoyed getting some of the FLW history, but it was not worth suffering this book for it.
