I'm torn.
I had lots of fun with this book, and the original trilogy is one of my favourites of all time... but something was missing. Why am I expected to trust Alessandro right away? This man, as handsome as he is, just shows up out of nowhere and we're supposed to smile and nod.
I wanted to see more of those moments where Alessandro and Catalina were just hanging out, and actually earning each other's trust.
Still excited about the next book though!! I wanna see where this goes.
