Let Me Love You by Alexandria House

4.5

While interning for a jewelry company, Jo meets Everett. Their lifestyles completely different-he’s a rapper and she’s “just an intern.” Both divorcees with a child. Even though disgusted by his demeanor, she decides to give him a chance. As their love grew quickly, so does the chaos. Through it all, they managed to be open and honest with one another. Yet, letting nothing come between them. Becoming one big, happy family was their end goal.

I loved how Everett was patient and gentle with Jo. That man worshipped the ground she walked on. He welcomed her daughter with open arms also. As for Jo, she was skeptical but accepted the “princess treatment.” Even allowed his teenage daughter to warm up to her. She wasn’t trying to share her Daddy.
