Chasing Crazy by Kelly Siskind

I'd heard some buzz from my twitter timeline about this author and this book. I'd put it on my TBR and then I saw the offer to read it and I jumped at it. I wasn't disappointed. I read this book in a day because I couldn't put it down.

Nina just doesn't know where she belongs. She is famous in her town, but not for a good thing. Her life was supposed to get better when she went to college but it really just isn't. She doesn't know how to make it any better and at home she's the responsible one. Not that her parents are bad they're just free, peace loving people. Nina decides to take a break, a vacation of sorts. She wants to find herself and maybe being half way around the world is just what the doctor ordered. What she wasn't counting on was meeting a guy, Sam.

Sam is trying to find himself too. The last year of his life has been a mess and New Zealand is where he's planning on finding what got lost. He didn't expect to meet a girl. Especially not someone that became important. He was told once that when you know, you know. Can he convince Nina that he knows?

I really enjoyed this story about a boy and a girl trying to find themselves and ending up finding each other. They both have things going on in their real lives that has shoved them in to more responsibility then any young adult should have to deal with. Nina just wanted to belong and she realizes that sometimes fitting in and belonging won't always make you happy. Sam is trying to come back from something that devastated him and caused rejection in his life. Nina shows him that not everyone will treat him that way. Nina is sometimes impossibly down on herself and so very quirky. I loved her quirkiness but sometimes it was over the top. Not so much that it was distracting. I want to know what you all think about this book!! When you're done let me know and leave the author love in the form of a review!
