Another Hockey Romance from Helena Hunting! I am for it!
New series! We have Beatrix(Rix) Madden who is the sister of Philip(Flip) Madden and besties with Tristan Stiles. These three grew up together and Philip and Tristan are living together and playing on the same pro team, Toronto Terror.
Rix ends up impulsively quitting her job one day and finding herself living with Phillip and Tristan. She has always had a crush on him but the two live to argue and push each others buttons. Have since they were younger. However, living together and the tension developing between the two is bound to break and when it does.......it broke and turned into spice, spice, spice!!!!
I loved Rix. She was sassy, strong and independent. She had a plans for stability and did what she needed to do to achieve it. She doesn't take crap from anybody.
Tristan had some things he needed to work through. He was a loyal guy! He wanted Rix badly but had to figure it out, well with the help of his teammates to get there.
In both ways, these two had to grow up early and took on responsibilities and learning how to let go of it a little and that they could depend on each other is what they needed! They needed each other. Their bickering brought them together and it was fun to read about. These two were compatible in every way.. even in the bedroom... SHEEEESSSHHH good, lord Helena! I was not expecting what I read and I loved it!
The only thing that truly drove me crazy was Flip and his revolving door of bunnies other than that, the other side characters were perfect ! I am excited to read more of the Toronto Terror Series!
