the prose is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful like i can’t get over it. this is one of those books you read and it sticks with you. i didn’t love the method of storytelling if that makes sense like two perspectives but i feel like it makes up for it with such beautiful language like im really a sucker for artfully chosen words
