The Boy Between: A Mother and Son's Journey From a World Gone Grey by Amanda Prowse, Josiah Hartley

5.0

This book was beautiful. That's all I need to say. Beautiful and emotional. An important story with an important message.
A story that's raw and connects with readers who may be going through a difficult patch in life.

I had tears in my eyes throughout this entire book. There was no holding them back.
As a mother, Amanda speaks of how her son's emotional pain also caused her pain. Watching her son suffer wrenched her heart. And just reading their story wrenched my heart too.
I could feel the emotions, understand them. And that is what made this book so raw and so relatable to my life. Although a light read, it's important, really important.

For those suffering with their mental health, you're not alone, ever. I'm here, and so are many others.
