Frozen Kiss by C.J. Singh

5.0

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Frozen Kiss is the third of three connected novellas. In this world, witches and warlocks are being killed because of what happened to the current King’s parents.

We finally get to follow Fleur and her second chance romance with Thorne. Though the two came together when with their siblings' marriage, and then the death of one of them, Fleur turned Thorne down when he asked her to marry him two years ago.

Thorne is the epitome of a “overcoming any mountain to make this work” kind of guy. While he eventually understands Fleur’s feelings, he can’t help but try to convince her that she’s holding herself back. He pushes her to grow, even when she rejects it, and it’s for the better. She needed that push.

Fleur’s goals are admirable, but it’s great when she finally voices them and is only met with a “what are you talking about” attitude. No one else is thinking what she is, and while you can see her decision is rooted in her love for her sister, it’s nice when she finally realizes she has to worry about her own happiness too.

❝ There is nothing in this world that could take away my memories of you. ❞
