I love love love this book! Taylor Jenkins Reid has quickly become one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint. The world of 70s rock has also intrigued me: the culture, the drama, the drug influence, the glam, etc. This book takes you right into that setting and you feel as though you’re experiencing everything with the characters. Daisy is a strong, female main character who doesn’t take no for an answer and knows her worth. Despite all of her positive qualities, she is still deeply human and makes ill-informed decisions. All of the characters represent different types of people who have different backstories but are united by the creation of the band Daisy Jones and the Six. The interview style makes this book fly by but doesn’t take away from the descriptions of the setting and the how intimately we get to know the characters. If you love Fleetwood Mac and romance drama within a band, please please read this book!!
