Agents of Influence: A British Campaign, a Canadian Spy, and the Secret Plot to Bring America Into World War II by Henry Hemming

informative medium-paced

4.0

A really interesting history, though the author's deep personal interest sometimes makes me question the presentation of the triumphs and failures of this aspect of British covert involvement in World War II. A very accessible and quick read of a chapter of World War II that parallels current events and remains relevant in how we should consider media and international interference in other countries' domestic affairs.
